Mr. Shobe became ill about two weeks ago while in Waverly and had to be taken home. He later suffered with pneumonia and had been very ill for the past week. He was born in Lima, O., but had spent most of his life near Waverly. He is survived by his wife and the following children: Arthur Shobe, San Jaun, Tex., Lee Shobe, Waverly; Mrs. Alfred Huyett, Puyallup, Wash.; Floyd Shobe, Lawrence; Mrs. Don Kirby, Bonner Springs; Roy Shobe, Englewood, Colo., and Mrs. Tony Armstrong, Wichita. Mrs. Sam Thompson of Burlington and Mrs. Charles Parmely of Emporia are sisters and Bert Shobe of Spokane, Wash., is a brother. Arrangements have not been made for the funeral except that Rev. H. L. Koonce of Waverly will be in charge. Internment will be in Glendale cemetery.
