Obituary of GUNN, Evelyn   Dickinson County, KS 2002

HUTCHINSON--Evelyn Gunn, 87, longtime Hutchinson resident, died Monday, Oct. 
14, 2002, at Thorne Care Center, Hutchinson.

She was born March 20, 1915, at Enterprise, the daughter of Robert M. and Daisy 
Ann (McConnell) Hassler. She graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1933 and 
Hutchinson Community College in 1935. She was a 1975 graduate of McPherson 
College.

She married Roland S. Gunn on Aug. 8, 1937, in Hutchinson.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 19, 2002, at Wesley Towers 
Chapel, Hutchinson.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Mount Hope Cemetery, 
Enterprise, the Rev. Nick Warner and the Rev. Robert B. Brooks officiating.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at 
Elliott Mortuary, 1219 North Main, Hutchinson, where the family will receive 
friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday.
