Lesa Dianne Payne, 61, Ellsworth, died Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2002, at Ellsworth 
County Medical Center, Ellsworth.

She was born Oct. 4, 1941, at Wamego, the daughter of Byron and Lillian 
(Sutterland) Sheridan. She graduated from Herington High School in 1959.

She married Jerry Payne on April 18, 1959, in Herington. They later divorced.

A private service will be at a later date. The body was donated to scientific 
research at the KU Medical Center.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Assembly of God Church, Ellsworth, or 
to the Abilene Shrine Club Travel Fund, left at or sent in care of Danner 
Funeral Home, P.O. Box 758, Abilene, KS 67410.
