Obituary of STAMMEYER, Twila J.  Dickinson County, KS 2002

Twila J. Stammeyer, 74, died Sunday, Oct. 13, 2002, at Memorial Hospital, 
Abilene.

She was born May 31, 1928, south of Abilene in the Acme community, the daughter 
of Otis and Josie (Harrison) Sexton. She attended the Sunnyside and Solomon 
schools.

She married C.L. "Bud" Stammeyer on March 26, 1946. Most of their married life 
was spent in Abilene.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 17, 2002, at the First 
United Methodist Church, the Rev. Rick Saylor officiating. Burial will be in 
Abilene Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Danner Funeral Home, 501 N. Buckeye, Abilene.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Abilene First United Methodist Church 
or the American Cancer Society, left at or sent in care of Danner Funeral Home, 
P.O. Box 758, Abilene, KS 67410.
