Mrs. Emma BLACK, 71, died last night at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Floyd WRAY, 1741 Massachusetts street. Funeral services will be held at the McLouth Baptist church. The time to be announced later. >From Lawrence Daily Journal-World, Thursday, March 5, 1942 Funeral services for Mrs. Emma Black, 71, who died Tuesday night at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Floyd WRAY, 1741 Massachusetts street, will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock at the McLouth Baptist church. Burial willbe in the McLouth cemetery. Mrs. Black has been a resident of McLouth for many years, having made her home here for the past year. Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Dora HOSKINSON, Copeland; three sons, Claud Black, Kansas City; Frank Black, Williamstown; and John Black, Tonganoxie; 16 grandchildren, and other relatives.
