John Cain, 69, Left Not Explaining Suicide. John CAIN, 69 years old, apparently committed suicide by shooting himself with a shotgun about 8 o'clock last night at his home, which was a small house at the rear of 454 Perry street, the home of a brother, Dean Cain. Members of the Dean Cain family heard a shot and upon investigation discovered the body of John Cain lying half off the bed and the gun nearby. An unsigned not found in the room stated the act was being committed because of ill health and domestic worries.. John Cain formerly worked at the Lawrence Paper Mill, but had been retired several years. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Armanda Cain; his father, William Cain; two brothers, William Cain, Jr., and Dean Cain, all of Lawrence and two sisters, Mrs. Charline KOSAKOWSKI, of Lawrence and Mrs. Carrie ROWLETT of Los Angeles.
