Burial will be made in Central cemetery. The family requests that no flowers be sent. Mr. Carder operated a drug store at Quenemo unitl 1917. he was also an internal revenue collector. In later years he was an auditor for the Standard Life Insurance association. He was a 32nd degree Mason, a member of the Odd Fellows and Modern Woodmen of America. Mr. Carder was born February 14, 1857 at LeRoy, W. Va., a son of Zachariah Patton and Mahala Jane (Hyde) CARDER. He was twice married. His first marraige was to Phygenia Olive HETTICK, who died in 1893. He was married in 1894 to Maud HANEY, and she died October 15, 1929. Surviving relatives are a son, and four daughters, Mrs. T.J. BAER, Grand Junction, Colo., Mrs. J.A. McCANDLESS, Los Angeles, Calif., Earl H. CARDER, Fredonia; Mrs. T. C. MADDEN, Lawrence and Mrs. J.F. CASTO, Topeka; eleven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, three brothers and a sister, Thomas J. Carder, Topeka; R.E. Carder, Overbrook; John S.
