James Alexander CLARK, aged 74 years, 737 Michigan street, died at the Lawrence Memorial hospital last evening. He had been a resident of Lawrence for over 65 years and was a member of the Ninth Street Baptist church. He was the brother of the late Judge J.W. Clark. He is survived by one daughter, Mary Ann Clark, one son, James Nathaniel Clark, both of Lawrence, one sister, Mrs. Mattie Clark FRIERSON of Chicago, Ill., one niece, Mrs. Alice Clark HESTER of Lawrence, one nephew, Leonard Clark of Lawrence. The body will lie in state at The Bowser-Gleed mortuary. Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock form the Ninth street Baptist church with Rev. W. S. DAVENPORT in charge.
