Hans Carl JORGENSEN, a former resident of Lawrence, died June 25, in Providence hospital in Kansas City. He was born in Nyborg, Denmark where he was educated and joined the Lutheran church. He came to New York City in 1904 and a year later to Lawrence to work for his uncle C.J. ERIKSEn in the furniture store. While in Lawrence he joined the Masonic lodge, later transferring his membership to Wyandotte Lodge No. 3 of Kansas City, where he was engaded in the furniture business in Kansas City. In 1907 he was married to Miss Edith HASE of Lawerence and together they have made Kansas City their home. He is survived by his wife, three sons, Frederick C. of Los Angeles, Calif., Pvt. H. Carl of Midland, Tex.; Paul E. of Kansas City; four daughters, Mrs. Dorothea BATRES of the home, Mrs. C.L. WHITE of Alexandria, Va., Mrs. Gilbert PUGH of Kansas City, Mo., and Mrs. Leo G.
