Edward Sherman LEMON, age 77 years, a resident of Lawrence for the past 47 years, died yesterday evening at his home, 915 Alabama street. Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 4:30 o'clock from the Masonic Temple with Dr. R.A. SCHWEGLER in charge. Burial will be made in Oak Hill cemetery. Lawrence No. 9 will have charge of the services at the grave. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Olive Lemon, of the home, thre sons, Edward and Walter both of Lawrence and John of Independence, Mo., two daughters, Mrs. J.N. HARREL and Mrs. C.O. BULLOCK, both of Lawrence, 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. The body will lie in state until tomorrow noon at the Rumsey funeral home. Mr. Lemon had been a Mason since 1908.
