Lorensen Mrs. Florence Effie LORENSEN, aged 58 years, died at her home in Great Falls, Mont., on Saturday, April 4. She had been in poor health for several years, owing to heart trouble. Mrs. Lorensen, the sister of Mrs. Delia WHITMAN, of Lone Star. H.N. BOLES, of Lawrence, and Mrs. Lulu NORTH, of route five, came to Kansas with her parents in 1884 from Virginia and lived all the early days of her life in Douglas county, where she rewceived her schooling. In 1901 she was married to Charles A. CHILDS and for several years they were in business at Reno, Kan. To this union were born six children, all of whom are living. In 1913 the family to Alberta, Canada where they lived on a claim for several years before returning to the U.S. and locating in Great Falls, Mont. Mrs. Lorensen was here just a short time ago to attend the funeral of a niece, Mrs. Walter BOYD and to visit her brother and two sisters, returning to her home March 11. She is survived by her husband, Lorenz Lorensen, of the home. Funeral services and burial were at Great Falls, Mont.
