She had been ill several years. On June 12, 1886, she was married to William Lawrence LOBB of St. Issey, England, at Chillicothe, Mo. In 1889 they came to McLouth. On February 12, 1912, her husband died. She was the mother of nine children. Richard and Ardie died in infancy and Virgil gave his life for his country in World War I. The surviving children are: two daughters and four sons, Mrs. Susie LLOYD of Kansas City, Fred LOBB of Lawrence, Roy and Harry of McLouth, Hollis of Kansas City, and Mrs. Miles WALKER of Morris, Ill. In addition she leaves a brother, John Gilmartin of Hutchinson. A brother, Michael and sister, Ella GLAZIER, preceded her in death. Eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and other relatives also survive. Funeral services were held July 6 at the Methodist church in McLouth, Kan., Rev. W.M. ROGERS officiating.
