Augusta Anderson MALMBERG was born December 3, 1857 in Sweden and passed away April 9, 1942 at her home. She came to the United States in 1884 and settled in Lawrence, Kan., where she joined the Baptist church in 1885. She was united in marriage ot John August Malmberg on April 16, 1890 at Lawrence. She had been a resident of Douglas county for 58 years and lived on the same farm for 41 years. She leaves a son, Oscar of the home, two daughters, Emma MYERS of Montclair, N.J., and Marie MOSEMAN of Fall City, Neb.; four grandsons, Richard and Jack Myers, Thomas and Donald MOSIMAN, two nieces, Mrs. Anton ANDERSON of Brazoria, Tex., and Mrs. Albert ANDERSON, Lawrence, Kan., and a nephew William JOHNSON of Kansas City, Kan.
