Later she moved with her parents to Iowa and at the age of 18 years came to Kansas, where she had spent the most of her life since. On March 13, 1858, she was united in marriage to Silas BOND, who preceded her in death, January 8, 1902. To this union was born ten children: Harvey BOND, Milton Bond, Greeley Bond, Bert Bond, Alva Bond, Jane MESENHEIMER, Etta SAILE, Dora BARTON, Anna SCHNUR, and Elva TRENT. Harvey Bond, Bert Bond, Dora Barton and Jane Mesenheimer preceded her in death. In the year 1916 she was united in marriage to Mickle O'Connor, who died in a short time after their marriage. Following his death she made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Barton, for five years and for the last 19 years she has made her home with her daughter, Mrs. G.W. TRENT. She leaves to mourn her passing six children, 27 grandchildren, 57 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson, Henry Arthur Mesenheimer, of Kanwaka.
