Miss Ida Jean POLSON, 26, died yesterday at the Grandview sanitarium in Kansas City, Kan., after an illness of one week. She is the daughter of Mrs. Eugenie POLSON of Lawrence and Grover C. Polson, Berkeley, Calif. Miss Polson was teacher of home economics at the Coffeyville high school. She was graduated from the University of Kansas in 1937 and had formerly taught in Linwood and Herndon, Kan. She was a member of the Alpha Gamma Delta sorority. Surviving her are her parents; two sisters, Mrs. Roland LOEWEN, Anniston, Ala., and Miss Louise Polson, Lawrence; two brothers, Grover Sterling Polson, an engineer in Costa Rica, and Dr. Robert C. Polson, attached to the Bethany hospital staff in Kansas City, Kan.; her paternal grandfather, T. C. POLSON, Berkeley, Calif.; and her material grandparents, Prof. and Mrs. M.W. STERLING, of Lawrence. Funeral services willbe held at the Congregational church here.
