Mrs. Della Roady
Mrs. Della Roady, resident of Topeka for the last two years, died Sunday at her 
home, 727 Garfield, following an extended illness. She was born November 26, 
1876, in Shawnee county, and had been a resident of Richland most of her life. 
She was a member of the Richland Methodist church.
Surviving are her husband, Y.C. Roady of the home; two daughters, Mrs. LaVera 
HUMPHREY, Stull, and Mrs. Devena STEEL, Pomona; two sons, Emery Roady, Los 
Angeles, Calif., and Glenn Roady, Topeka; one brother, Orville BELL, Haviland, 
Kan.; three sisters, Mrs. Cora MELLINGER, Mrs. E. HOTHAN and Miss Clara BELL, 
all of Topeka; and eight grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at the Penwell Funeral home in Topeka at 2 o'clock 
Wednesday. Burial was in Foster cemetery.
