She was born November 26, 1876, in Shawnee county, and had been a resident of Richland most of her life. She was a member of the Richland Methodist church. Surviving are her husband, Y.C. Roady of the home; two daughters, Mrs. LaVera HUMPHREY, Stull, and Mrs. Devena STEEL, Pomona; two sons, Emery Roady, Los Angeles, Calif., and Glenn Roady, Topeka; one brother, Orville BELL, Haviland, Kan.; three sisters, Mrs. Cora MELLINGER, Mrs. E. HOTHAN and Miss Clara BELL, all of Topeka; and eight grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the Penwell Funeral home in Topeka at 2 o'clock Wednesday. Burial was in Foster cemetery.
