James Oscar Roberts.
James Oscar ROBERTS, 83 years old, died yesterday evening at his home, 1235 New 
York street.
Funeral services will be held from the Funk chapel at 2 o'clock Monday 
afternoon. Burial will be in Oak Hill cemetery.
He is survived by his wife of the home, one son, Elmer Roberts, Lawrence; three 
sisters, Mrs. Harry PHILLIPS and Mrs. Ed MONROW of Ottawa, and Mrs. Eugene 
SCHULER, Springfield, Mo.; two brothers, Thoren Roberts, Lawrence and Dr. I. A. 
Roberts, Kansas City, Mo.
