Mrs. Gertrude S. Sawtell.
Mrs. Gertrude S. SAWTELL, 80, for a number of years house mother of the Sigma
Alpha Epsilon fraternity, died Sunday in Kansas City, Mo. She was the widow of
Dr. J.E. Sawtell of Kansas City, Kan. Ms. Sawtell is survived by two daughters
and a son. She was a past matron and life member of Mendias chapter No. 1, Order
of the Eastern Star.
