Mrs. Matilda Schoenhofer Had Lived Alone on Farm. Mrs. Matilda SCHOENHOFER, aged 66 years, resident of the Eudora neighborhood for over 50 years, was found dead at ther home three miles north of Eudora, yesterdy evening by Mr. and Mrs. Charles DAVIDSON, neighbors living near by. Ted SEXTON, coroner of Leavenworth county, was called and he said Mrs. Schoenhofer apparently suffered a heart attack and had been dead since Tuesday. She had lived alone since the death of her husband, Charles Schoenhofer, in 1938. She is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Florence CARROL of Los Angeles, Mrs. Clara KANDIC and Mrs. Viola JOHNSON, both of Kansas City, Mrs. Ella TITUS of Independence, Mo., and Mrs. Daisy STROUD of Tulsa, Okla., one son, Vincent of Kansas City, one sister in California, and one brother, Joe MADL of Baldwin. Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at the Holy Family Catholic church in Eudora at 9:30 o'clock with Father Reith in charge. Burial will be made in the Catholic cemetery at Eudora.
