John S. Swisher.
John S. SWISHER, who would have reached the age of 80 years on September 23,
died Sunday morning at his home in Fall Leaf.
He is survived by five nieces, Mrs. Clara E. ABBOTT of Eudora, Mrs. Lydia OLSON
of Kansas City, Mo., Mrs. Minnie WOODRUFF of Humansville, Mo., Mrs. Stella DAVIS
of Topeka, and Mrs. Nora SMITH of Chambers, Ariz., and a grand nephew, Pvt.
Oliver ABBOTT, who is stationed at the Army air base at Reno, Nev. 
Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 1 o'clock from the Schubert
funeral home with Rev. W.O. WATSON, pastor of the Eudora Methodist church, in
charge. Burial will be made in the Delaware cemetery.
