Born at High Point, N.C., the daughter of Dr. William PUGH and Rachel Carter Pugh, she came with her family to Kansas in 1871, where Dr. Pugh was a pioneer physician in Harvey, Lyon and Chase counties. She attended the University of Kansas and in 1883 married Charles Curtis Dart, who died in 1887. Her second marriage was to Edward Wadsworth TANNER. After his death, she came in 1897 to Lawrence with her daughter, Edna Rachel DART, and son Edward Wadsworth Tanner, who survive her. Other relatives are three sisters and a brother, Miss Luella Pugh, Miss Anne PUGH, Mrs. W.C. STEVENS and William Pugh, and two grandchildren, Mary Tanner and Edward W. Tanner, Jr. Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 4 o'clock in the chapel of Plymouth Congregational church. Rev. C.
