Agnes Kelly Turner.
Word has been received by relatives here of the death of Mrs. Agnes Kelly
TURNER. She was drowned Friday at Versailles, Mo., while attempting to rescue
her small son, John, who also drowned.
Mrs. Turner was the daughter of Mrs. Stella KELLY, Whittier, Cal., for many
years a resident of Lawrence.
She leaves her husband and three children, of the home in Versailles, a
daughter, Mary Katherine BARBER, of Lawrence, and a son, Willliam BARBER, naval
training station, Farragut, Ida.
