Stetter TimeTraveler303@aol.com November 3, 2007, 10:30 pm A meeting of the Centennial Historical Society was held on the 6th day of May, in the Court House, in Hays City, at which meeting the following officers were elected: Jacob MOSER, Presedent; (sic) L. F. EGGORS, Secretary; Martin ALLEN, Treasurer. Upon motion of Mr. MANNING, a committee of eight, consisting of the following named gentlemen, was appointed to secure historical items and matters of interest for the society at its next meeting; D. C. NELLIS, Martin ALLEN, W. P. MONTGOMERY, Wm. MANNING, J. A. DOWNING, W. D. LANE, R. SPITLER, and Fred KRUEGER. On motion of Mr. SPITLER, it was agreed that fifty posters be ordered printed, by the society, and circulated throughout the county, in order to secure a large attendance at the next meeting. On motion of Martin ALLEN, the meeting adjourned until the evening of May 12th, at 7 o'clock p.m. Jacob MOSER, Chairman L. F.
