Call for a Meeting. 

A meeting of the citizens of Ellis County is hereby called for Saturday, May 
6th, at 2 o'clock p.m., at the Court House, in Hays City, for the purpose of 
organizing a Historical Society, and appointing the necessary committees to 
write the history of this county, and to make necessary arrangements for a 
celebration July 4th.
