Brother Dies in Boulder

Mr. and Mrs. William STEVENSON were called to Boulder Colo. due to the 
death of her brother, Nathan ALLEN, Monday of a heart attack. He was a 
former Orion vicinity resident.

Funeral services will be today (Thursday) in Boulder. STEVENSONS left 
Wednesday.

Obituaries
Nathan Allen

Nathen A. ALLEN, Boulder, died July 8 of a heart attack at a Boulder 
hospital. He had been hospitalized since June 20 after suffering severe 
burns while attempting to start a car.

He was born Sept. 8, 1893 in Ellis County, Kansas. He was the son of 
Mr. and Mrs. J. W. ALLEN and formerly resided in the Orion community. 
He moved to Boulder in 1923 and owned a trucking business. He retired 
several years ago.

He is survived by his wife, Lucy, sons, Richard, Boulder, and Warren, 
Thornton, Colo.; daughters, Mrs. Jean HAWKS and Mrs. Ray (Louise) HARD, 
Denver, Mrs. Worth (Betty Lou) JONES, Las Vegas, Nev.; brothers, Ted, 
Boulder, and Ira, O'Neal, Calif.; sisters Mrs. Will (Elsie) LAUER, 
Loveland, Colo., Mrs. Wm. (Frances) STEVENSON, Oakley, Mrs. Mack 
(Lydia) McPHERRIN, Kansas City, Mrs. Wm. (Lula) MURRISON, Chapman, Mrs. 
Bill (Lillie) SHUMATE, San Rafael, Calif.; and twenty two grand 
children.

Funeral services and burial were in Boulder.
