He came here, from N. Y. state, many years ago, and established a cattle ranche on the Smokey, south of Munjor, moving to our town a few years ago, building himself a nice home where he lived with his wife to the end, & active in life to the very last. He was a devout member of the Free Methodist church, and Rev. Areble, one of the prominent pastors, was here to hold the funeral services, which was very largely attended by sympathizing friends from town and country. The family request us to return their sincere thanks to all those who were so kind to them during his sickness and at the funeral. Additional Comments: Israel is buried in Mount Allen Cemetery, Hays, KS.
