Mrs. Israel Grenell died Sunday afternoon at her home in the southeast part of our city. She had been feeble for years, yet at times she would be quite spry and would come up town and visit friends, but was always subject to heart failure. She was complaining but a few days and the end came quite suddenly and peacefully, without suffering, and now she has gone to be with her dear husband, who died a few years ago leaving her here to battle with the world, fortunately surrounded by loving children and grand-children who were always looking after her welfare. The funeral was held at the family home Tuesday afternoon, with a large circle of sympathizing friends present, and burial was made in Mt. Allen cemetery beside her husband. She had lived nearly her four score years was a devout christian and ready to go when the Lord called her home. Additional Comments: Angeline was quite a special lady. I do not know when her 1st husband died, but she and Israel Grenell were married June 11, 1874 in NY. Israel's 1st wife Mary died June 22, 1873, leaving him with 3 surviving children - George, Ida May and Mary Della. There is a possiblity that Angeline & Israel may have had 3 children together who did not survive.
