REDMOND Ottawa - Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Lamb-Roberts Funeral Home here for Roscoe R. REDMOND, 92, Ottawa, who died Friday at an Ottawa hospital. He was born Oct. 16, 1889, at Lawrence, the son of Thomas J. and Ida HOLTER REDMOND. He moved with his parents to Ottawa when he was 4 years old and attended Ottawa public schools. He later was graduated from the University of Kansas, Lawrence, and KU School of Law. Mr. REDMOND was a retired attorney at Ottawa and Army veteran of World War I. He was Franklin County Attorney for six years and attorney of the city of Ottawa for 22 years. He was a member of Westminster United Presbyterian Church, Rotary International, first commander and member of Warren Black Post No. 60 of the American Legion, first drum major in Drum and Bugle Corps, life member of Ottawa Lodge No. 18, AF&AM, and was master of the lodge in 1918, member of Union Chapter No. 15 of Order of Eastern Star, all at Ottawa. He also was a member of Society of 353 infantry. He married Louise E. ESTERLY Nov. 15, 1922, at Ottawa. She survives. Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Richard M. PICKLER, Ulysses; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
