NOTICE FOR PUBLICATION

Land Office at WaKeeney, Kan.     No. 5200
     Feb. 1, 1890. 

Notice is hereby given that the following named settler has filed notice of 
his intention to make final proof in support of his claim and that said proof 
will be made before the probate judge of Gove county, Kans., at Gove City, 
Kan., on March 24, 1890, viz: 

Henry VanLOON, homestead application No. 6930, for the west half of northeast 
quarter and east half of northwest quarter of section 18, in township 12 s, 
range 31 w. 

He names the following witnesses to prove his continuous residence upon and 
cultivation of said land, viz: 

John W. WOLFE and Stephen M. MILLER of Grinnell, Kan.  Allen P. TENNAL and 
Samuel M. TENNAL of Oakley, Kan. 
             Lee Monroe, Register
