Stetter TimeTraveler303@aol.com September 1, 2007, 12:55 pm Oakley GRAPHIC, Oakley, Logan County, Kansas; February 28, 1890 OBITUARY UNION PRECICT (sic), Gove County, Feb. 22, 1890, Miss Ora Van WINKLE died this morning at 1 o'clock, of lung trouble, hastened by a violent attack of the la grippe. Her age was 15 years. She was a kind and affectionate little daughter and admired by all her associates. Dying so prematurely makes it a very sad affliction for the bereaved family and the host of friends who knew her. She passed off as in a sleep to join the happy angels on the other shore, leaving a kind father and mother and brothers and sisters to mourn her loss. She shall sleep but for a moment, There will be a glorious dawn, When she wakes for to receive it On the resurrection morn. M. A. LOHR.
