Annual Reunion Held.
Mr. and Mrs. Minor YOUNG entertained twenty-eight of their relatives Sunday at a
family reunion. Among them were A.N. YOUNG of Bogue, his three sons and two
daughters, thirteen grandchildren and one great grandchild.
This was the first time in two years that all of Mr. Young's family have been
home for a visit. Two years ago a reunion was held at Bogue with more nearly a
hundred percent attendance. There are thirty grandchildren and sixteen great
grandchildren in all.
A pot luck dinner was served at noon and the afternoon was spent taking pictures
and visiting. The party left about five o'clock after planning a similar reunion
for next August.
Those present were: Mr. and Mrs. A.N. YOUNG and their granddaughter, Virginia
CONLEY; Mr. and Mrs. Ivan MILES; Mr. and Mrs. Frank YONG and sons, Raymond,
Robert, and Jack; Mr. and Mrs. Homer YOUNG and sons, Francis, Howard, Wilbur and
Alvie; all of Bogue; Mr. and Mrs. Jim LAVELL of McDonald, Kansas; Freda TRAMMELL
of Bird City, Kansas; Mrs. Minnie KELLY and son Addison of Manhattan, Kansas;
Oliver WHITE, and Mr. and Mrs. M.H. YOUNG, Lodema, James, Chester, and Alvin.
