Miss Oakie BELL and Mr. Arnold HILLMAN, were married Sunday at the home of the groom's mother, Mrs. E.H. Hillman, in Wakeeney. The marriage ceremony was performed by Rev. Hahn, pastor of the Lutheran church at Hays, with only the immediate families present. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Bell, of Penokee, and was a former student in the Hill City High School. The groom is the manager of the local Dobson and Hillman clothing store, and both young people are well known in this community. The bride was charming in a flowered dress, with a bouquet of roses. Those present at the wedding and at the dinner following were: Mr. and Ms. Tom BELL, and their daughter, Arvilla, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest HILLMAN, Mr. and Mrs. LaVerne HILLMAN, Mr. and Mrs. Edgar HILLMAN and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Cyril MALINOWSKY and son, Mr. and Mrs. Claude VESPER, Mrs. Ruby St. John of Kansas City, Mrs. E.H. Hillman and son, Harold and Rev. and Mrs. HAHN. Mr. and Mrs. Hillman will be at home in Hill City.
