Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Jackson, living south of town are announcing the marriage of their only daughter, Veda JACKSON to Wilford GRIFFITH of Hill City by the Probabte Judge of Phillipsburg, Sunday, May 8. They were accompanied by Miss Eva Forgy and Eldon Branderbury of Hill City. The bride wore a white silk crepe dress and the groom's suit was dark blue serge. Miss Forgy wore pink silk crepe. A wedding supper was served at the home of the bride's parents, other guests being, Miss Vera Gibson, Miss Doris Henning and Oral Bass. Mrs. Griffith has been teaching school since graduating from the Lenora Rural High School in 1930. Mr. Griffith graduated the same year from the Hill City High Schol. They will reside on his mother's farm south of Hill City. Friends here extend best wishes to the happy couple for a long, happy and prosperous life together.--Norton Courier.
