Came to Kingman County in 1884-- Funeral Services Held At Presbyterian Church. William L. BRANSON was born in Sumun, Illinois, February 15th, 1858. He died at his home four miles northeast of Harper, January 30th, 1922, at the age of 63 years, 11 months and 15 days. He was united in marriage to Nettie ISENOGLE at Duncan Mills, Ills., February 10th, 1880. To this union were born five children, Mrs. Lena M. WRANGLER of Harper; Clinton Branson of Chicago and Frank of Rago, Kansas; John and Corland of Harper. All were present when he passed away. He came to Kingman county, Kansas in 1884 and has since resided in Kingman, Sumner, and Harper counties. He leaves a beloved companion with the above mentioned children, one brother, Dr. O.P. Branson of Wichita, Kansas and other relatives with a host of friends to mourn his departure. Funeral service was held from the home Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 conducted by Rev. Hall, pastor of the Presbyterian church.
