Miss Mary Ann CRAIG, daughter of James and Malinda Craig was born on May 2nd, 1837 in St. Louis, Co, St.Louis, and died at Harper, Nov. 8, 1928. Her early life was spent on a farm in Illinois and in 1890 came to Kansas and settled on a farm near Norwich, Kans., in Kingman county and remained single and cared for her aged father until his death about 35 years ago, then made her home with her sister in Kingman until a few years ago she came to Harper and remained until her death. She leaves to mourn her passing, one brother, J.W. Craig, the only member left of the immediate family, besides several nieces and nephews who shall miss her greatly because she always brought sunshine into the lives of others through her pleasant disposition and many deeds of kindness. The funeral was held at the undertaking parlors on Friday afternoon at three o'clock.
