Charles Henry DAVY was born March 25, 1876, in Illinois and when eight years old he went to Nebraska with his parents. About a year ago he came to Harper and has lived with his brother T.S. Davy. He was a member of the M.E. church, and later united with the Evangelical church. Two months ago he united with the local M.E. church. A few years ago Mr. Davy was at work and received a blow on the head that caused a tumor to grow. It was inaccessible to medical skill and hastened his death. He is survived by two brothers and three sisters. The funeral was held Sunday afternoon, and was in charge of the pastor of the Methodist church. Mr. Davy joined the I.O.O.F. lodge in 1897 at Calloway, Nebraska and has been a continuous member since. S.P.
