Almarion Haskins Dies at His Home in Harper, November 13--Funeral Monday. Almarion HASKINS was born in Canada, July 15th, 1846 and passed away at his home in Harper, Kans., November 13th, 1921, age 75 years, 8 months, 28 days. When he was 18 years of age he came to the United States and 36 years ago he came to Harper County, Kansas. He settled near Crystal Springs where he remained until 15 years ago, when he moved to Harper. He was the father of five children, four of whom are living at the present time, Urwin A., Eva May McDOWELL, Roscoe of Harper, and Purley HALSTEAD of Wichita. On the 24th day of November 1903 he was married to Mrs. Louise PEARL. Mr. Haskins was a man of strong constitution and has been a hard worker all his life. He has been prosperous and provided well for his family. He united with the church years ago and has been very active in all the activities of the church. He was the teacher of the Men's Bible Class and always present. He taught his class the last Sunday before his illness. He was faithful to the end and there is layed up for him a crown of life. He leaves to mourn his loss a devoted wife, four children, 3 step-children, 20 grandchildren, and a host of friends. He will be greatly missed in the community and especially in the church, where he has been such a worker.
