It is believed that few, if any Kansas parents gave more sons for service in the
World War than did Mrs. Mary McKEE of Hazelton, Kans., in Harper County. She had
six boys in the service. Oscar H., the eldest son, who was a tthe Naval Air
Station, San Diego, Cal., George W., at Camp Lewis, Wash., Corporal Wallace
McKEE, Co. E, 12th Engineers, A.E.F., France; Lawrence, United States Steamship
Hancock; Corporal Robert M., 314th Field Signal Battalion, France. Lester,
S.A.T.C. Boulder, Colo.--Beacon.
