James Moore McKEEVER was born in Middletown, Iowa, October 14, 1855, and died of Pneumonia at his home near Danville, Kansas, May 14, 1919 at the age of 63 years and seven months. In the spring of 1856 his parents moved to Wayne County, Iowa whre he lived until June 1877, when the family moved to Harper County, Kansas, where they settled on a farm near the present town of Danville. On June 12, 1901 he and Miss Mary Elizabeth ASHLOCK were married. To this union three children were born, two of whom died in infancy.
