Little John Gilbert brightened our hearts and homes for a short nine months, having been born the 30th of September, 1918. All that loving hearts and hands could do to lighen the pain of the patient little sufferer and to prolong the little life was done, but to no avail and this precious little bud was transplanted to the upper gardens, fair. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the residence on East 11th, Father Keneally of Danville, officiating. Burial took place Sunday morning at 9:30 when all that was mortal was laid away in the I.O.O.F. cemetery. The little one leaves the heart broken father and mother, two little sisters and one little brother besides other relatives. The sympathy of the community and the Advocate is extended to the bereaved parents and relatives in this sad experience. J.G. Parker and family and H.T. Leonard and family of Enid, Okla. were the out-of-town relatives in attendance at the funeral. ==== KS-FOOTSTEPS Mailing List ==== File at: http://files.usgwarchives.net/ks/harper/obits/p/parker1134gob.txt This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.org/ksfiles/ File size: 1.8 Kb
