Samuel R. Sanders Dead.
Samuel R. SANDERS died at his home in this city early Monday morning. The
deceased was born in Kentucky, January 10th, 1823 and moved from that state to
Iowa, and after a residence there of about 30 years moved to Kansas. His wife
and six sons survive him, and with the citizens generally mourn his death. Mr.
Sanders for several years has been gradually failing, and although able to be up
and around within a week of his death was very feeble. The funeral was held
Tuesday afternoon and was conducted by Rev. J.R. EDWARDS of the Baptist church,
and the interment following in Spring Grove cemetery.
