Steen,--Emma STEEN, infant daughter of Allen W. and Cora E. Steen of Wakita,
Okla., died November 21, 1898; born November 20th. The dear little one was
called to heaven without any warning. Oh so very sad to the dear mother and
father over this sore bereavement, we write these words, "Gods will sand ways
are past finding out. We know the Saviour has a divine right to claim His own
because he has not only created them but redeemed them with His own precious
blood. It is ours to lie passive in His hands; He doeth all things well. Let us
anticipate union in heaven; God has a dwelling place for all his children. The
child is not dead but living, not lost but gone before. The tender bud was taken
from earth to bloom in the paradise of God."
