Gilbert Franklin WAGONER, was born May 15, 1862 in Mason County, Illinois and died at his home in Grant township, Harper County, Kansas, May 18, 1919, aged 57 years, and 3 days. At the age of nine years he moved to Jefferson County, Nebraska where he grew to manhood and was married to Mary GISH, March the 8th, 1894. To this union were born two children, Mrs. Twila FOX and Lloyd both of whom were with him to the end. He was converted during a camp meeting at Hillsdale in 1904 and united with the Harper M.E. church, in 1919 and lived to honor his profession. Frank, as every one called him, was a good husband, father, brother, and neighbor, and a friend to all who knew him. While he has gone from us, we can never forget his example of simple faith he has lived in his life. He leaves to mourn their loss, his wife, one daughter and one son, who is at home, two brothers of Daykin,Nebr. and Jamse Wagoner of Meridian, Idaho, four sisters, Mrs. Mary STEINBROOK of Tobias, Nebr., Mrs. Etta MEYERS, of Boise, Idaho, Mrs. Julia McCORMICK of Zendale, Kansas and Mrs. Addie HEATH of Fairbury, Nebr., and host of other relatives and friends. The funeral was held at the M.E. church at Harper conducted by Rev. Wm.
