Mrs. Mary Ann WOLF died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Kate DeMOTT at Harper, Kansas, after an illness of several months, Wednesday morning at 2:45 at the age of 74 years, and 19 days. Mary Ann WERLING was born in Bavaria, Germany, October 21, 1847 and came to the United States with her parents in 1848 and settled in Peru, Ills., and in 1867 was married to Karl Martin Wolf at Mt. Palenstine, Ills., and to this union, five children were born: Mrs. John DeMOTT, Harper, Kansas; Mrs. B.B. McCORMACK, Sunny Dale, Kansas; Mrs. Frank WHITMORE, Prague, Okla.; Mr. Martin F. WOLF, Wichita, Kansas, and Mrs W.B. WILLIAMS, Kansas City, Mo., besides those, she leaves eleven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Elizabeth WEBER, Lostant, Ill., two brothers, Louis and Joseph Werling of Fairbury, Ills., and a host of friends. Services were conducted at Undertaking Parlor at 2:45, Thursday, Rev. Jesse C. Fisher, officiating. The ladies quartet of the Methodist church rendered several beautiful hymns.
