Wonner Dead. Mrs. WONNER received a telegram last Friday announcing the death, at 10 o'clock that day of her husband, C.T. WONNER, at Osawatomie. Mr. Wonner had been unusually well the fore part of the week, and had seemed stronger mentally than for years, but Wednesday he had a stroke and never entirely rallied from it. Mrs. Wonner and the children accompanied by Denny MAYES, went up to Osawatomie, Friday afternoon and the body was made ready for shipment to the home of Mr. Wonner's mother, in Osceloa, Iowa. Mr. MAYES accompanied Mrs. Wonner to Kansas City, and saw her safely on the Iowa train before returning to Anthony. Masonic brethren at Oswatomie and Kansas City rendered efficient service to Mrs. Wonner in the hour of her trials, and Mr. Mayes is loud in his praise of the thoughtfulness and assistance of members of that order. Mr. Wonner was for years a resident of Anthony and had a host of friends who will be glad to know that his death has removed him from a bondage worse than de! ath, but will sympathize with the widow in her bereavement. ==== KS-FOOTSTEPS Mailing List ==== File at: http://files.usgwarchives.net/ks/harper/obits/w/wonner793gob.txt This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.org/ksfiles/ File size: 1.7 Kb
