William PATTERSON and Miss Isabel DUMBAUGH were married next door to this office
last Friday. Mr. Patterson is a son of Charles Patterson of Spring township and
his wife is a daughter of Mr. Uriah Dumbaugh. This wedding reminds us that the
name, Dumbaugh, occurs quite frequently in the matrimonial history of Harper
county as recorded in the Probate Judge's books. Mr. Dumbaugh has furnished more
marriageable daughters for Harper county young men than any other old settler we
know of in the county.
