Arthur Glenn Banks, son of Ira and Alice Banks, was born in Nevada, Mo., 
January 28, 1904 and departed this life on December 1, 1947, at Burrton, Kas., 
at the age of 43 years, 10 months, and three days.

He spent most of his life in El Dorado, Kas., where he grew to manhood. In 
1924, he moved to Carter Nine, Okla., where he met his wife, Grace Davis. They 
were married on December 4, 1924, at Miami, Okla., and to this union was born 
one son.

Arthur moved to Burrton five years ago, working for Transwestern Oil Co., and 
later for the Sun Rae Oil, with which he was employed at the time of his 
death.

He was a member of the Burrton Lodge, No. 182, A. F. and A. M., and of the 
Eagle Lodge of Burrton.
