   As a matter of history we desire to record that Master
Harry Clarence Morgan, of Sedgwick Township, was the first
white child born in Harvey county. His father, Mr. P. M.
Morgan, came here Sept. 29 1870, and three months later
brought out his family. The boy Harry was born Feb. 18th,
1871. In this boy's short life, many changes have taken
place, and by the time he is of age the county will have
a population of thirty or forty thousand.
