Andy WALKER will supply the thing - "yonder-come-here" he calls it - with wind. ~~~~%*** ~ ***%~~~~ New Harness Shop Geo. W. HEATHMAN makes No. 1 harness, and sells reasonable. Repairing made a specially. Shop, north side of square. 4-tf ~~~~%*** ~ ***%~~~~ Police Judge SCOTT has been initiated into the mysteries of city law. A case was tried before him the other day. The defendant paid $1 and costs, much to his (the defendant's) disgust. ~~~~%*** ~ ***%~~~~ The union temperance prayer meeting will be held at the Methodist church, next Sunday afternoon, instead of at the Presbyterian church, as previously announced. ~~~~%*** ~ ***%~~~~ Uncle Ike LANE will deliver an address at the temperance meeting, next Monday night, at the court house. Let everybody turn out and hear what Uncle Ike will say. ~~~~%*** ~ ***%~~~~ It is rumored that a man living in this county, near Muscotah, was badly frozen last Saturday night, and will probably die. At present writing, we are unable to give further information. ~~~~%*** ~ ***%~~~~ Temperance meeting at the court house Monday evening. Isaac LANE and Major ANDERSON will deliver speeches.
