The Holton Recorder, Jackson County, Thursday, July 12, 1900 July 12, 1900
Mrs. Barbara HAIST was tried in Justice Barker's court Wednesday on the charge
of selling liquor. She was convicted by the jury on three counts and was fined
$300 and 90 days in jail. the case will be appealed.
